Turkey Chili
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lb. ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- one 28-oz. can diced tomatoes
- one 15-oz. can black beans
- 3/4 C. refried black beans
- 1/2 C. salsa
- 2 Tbs. barbecue sauce
- sour cream
- shredded Mexican cheese blend
Directions
Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook onions for about 5 minutes, then add turkey and cook to brown it. Add ground cumin and cook for another minute. Add remaining ingredients (except sour cream and cheese). Break up refried beans as you cook them. When chili comes to a boil, lower to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Garnish with sour cream and cheese.
