Turkey Cranberry Avocado Sandwich

This is my go-to sandwich at lunchtime! It combines creamy and sweet flavors to make one yummy (and healthy) lunch.

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • about 1/4 very ripe avocado
  • small handful of dried cranberries
  • a few pieces sliced turkey

Take the 1/4 avocado and slice it into thin slices.  Lay the slices so they cover one slice of bread.  If the avocado is ripe enough, you should be able to spread it around with a knife to coat the bread.  Next, sprinkle a small handful of dried cranberries on the avocado. Lay your desired amount of turkey on top and close the sandwich.  Slice in half and enjoy!
