Ingredients

  • 1 box refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/3 C. butter
  • 1/3 C. onion, chopped
  • 1/3 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 14 oz. chicken broth
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 2 1/2 C. shredded cooked turkey
  • 2 C. mixed vegetables

Preheat your oven to 425°F. Create two pie crusts from the refrigerated dough using a 9-inch pie pan. Press one into the bottom of the pie pan and save the other. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add broth and milk, whisking until bubbly and thick. Stir in turkey and vegetables. Spoon mixture into pie pan. Cover with top crust, and cut vents. Bake for 35 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
