  • 2 carrots, peeled
  • 6 turnips, peeled and ends removed
  • 1 apple, peeled and core removed
  • 1 Tbs. onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbs. parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Place the carrots, turnips, and apples in your food processor
Using the shredding disk, shred until all parts are evenly shredded
Place into a large mixing bowl
Add the lemon juice to the bowl and then toss well to coat
In a small bowl, combine the oil, onion, sugar, vinegar, and parsley
Mix well and then pour over top of the turnip mixture
Toss well to mix and combine all ingredients
Season with the salt and pepper and toss once more
Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving
