Two-ingredient Banana Ice Cream is a great solution for anyone who's avoiding artificial sugars or excessively heavy desserts, but still wants to enjoy the experience of having sweet, creamy ice cream for dessert or as an occasional treat. This recipe uses heavy cream as the dairy component, but for a non-dairy treat, you can easily replace the heavy cream with soy milk or almond milk.

Peel the bananas and cut them into small pieces
Place them into a zip-lock bag and freeze them for at least 2 hours, although you can wait longer if you need to freeze them and then come back to the recipe later
Once the bananas are frozen, place them into a small mixing bowl
Add the heavy cream and mix thoroughly for 3-5 minutes, either using a blender on the pulverize speed, or a hand mixer on high speed
If the ice cream has begun to melt from the heat of the mixer or  blender, put it back into the freezer for 30 minutes before serving
Otherwise, serve immediately
Leftovers can be stored in the freezer for up to a month
