If you are looking for a light, lemony pasta dish, this recipe is for you! This family style recipe will please even the pickiest of eaters!

  • 10 oz. bow tie pasta
  • 4 Tbs. butter
  • 1 C. heavy cream
  • 1/3 C. juice from 1-2 lg. lemons
  • zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 C. chicken broth

Simply simmer the butter, cream and broth over medium heat in a large skillet until the sauce reduces by half. Then mix in the lemon zest and juice and let rest off of the heat. Boil the pasta (really any type that you have on hand will do) and save about ¾ cup of the pasta water for later use. Pour the pasta into the skillet with the sauce and add the saved pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick. Presto! Get ready to enjoy one of my family’s favorite summer dishes.
