If you love the taste and texture of baked apples with cinnamon then this is the cake recipe for you.

Ingredients

  • 4 baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 C. sugar

Directions

Grease a cake pan. Line bottom of pan with apples. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the apples. Mix cake as directed. Pour batter over apples. Bake as directed on cake box or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
