Wow, a recipe that is named after a state, this must be good. This is so sweet that it calls for honey and brown sugar with the slightest taste of ground ginger.

  • 4 T Honey
  • 3 T Brown sugar
  • 1 C. Mayonnaise, substitution - equal part plain yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
  • 3 T Dijon mustard
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 T soy sauce, substitution - low-sodium lite soy sauce

Mix all dressing ingredients in a medium bowl with whisk until blended thoroughly. For salad: Mix of green leaf and red leaf lettuce and spinach, you can also throw in some frisee or radicchio to counteract the sweetness of the dressing. Add some veggies also such as carrots, tomato, black olives, avocado, cucumber, onion and any other vegetable that your family enjoys. Arrange lettuce and vegetables in large serving bowl or individual plates drizzle desired amount of dressing and toss, enjoy.
