Valentine's Day Mini Strawberry Tarts

- 2 1/2 C. flour
- 6 tsp. sugar
- 1 C. butter
- 2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 box cheesecake mix
- 36 strawberries, washed and stems removed
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Mix flour and sugar. Melt butter in sauce and add almond extract. Pour into dry ingredients. Mix well. Place 1 tsp. of mixture in mini cupcake tins. Bring the dough up on sides of cup to form a shell. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
For cheesecake filling, follow package directions. Place strawberries on top of cup and then scoop a teaspoonful of cheesecake mix into each cup. If you desire, add whipped cream and drizzle with a homemade strawberry sauce.
