Vegan Hazelnut Hot Chocolate

Even if you're not a vegan, this rich and creamy cocoa is a winter-time must!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C. hot water
  • 3 Tbs. cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/2 C. hazelnut (or plain) soy creamer
  • 1 1/2 C. soymilk (vanilla or original)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. hazelnut extract

Directions

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cocoa powder and water until smooth. Add all other ingredients and heat on medium-low heat, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes or until hot. Do not let it simmer. Pour into mugs and serve.


If you can't find the hazelnut creamer, just use original flavor and add a little extra hazelnut extract.
