  • I refrigerated pizza dough, thawed
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/8 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/3 C. tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 C. button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 C. green bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/3 C. red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 C. black olives, sliced
  • 2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Make the pizza sauce by mixing the tomato sauce, water, oregano, basil, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a saucepan. Cook over medium and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes until thickened. Pour the sauce onto the rolled out dough. Top with tomatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and black olives. Add the mozzarella cheese liberally. Bake for 20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cooked.
