Walnut and Cheese Appetizer
Serving Size / Yield
- 2 C. mascarpone cheese, about 1 lb. blended with 1/4 C. heavy cream and 2 Tbs. sour cream
- 1/2 C. Gorgonzola cheese, about 2 oz.
- 2 Tbs. chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 C. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 C. chopped apples
In a small bowl, blend mascarpone cheese mixture with gorgonzola and basil. Mix to blend well. Transfer mixture to serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Shortly before serving, cover top with chopped walnuts. Serve with sliced apples.
