  • 6 C. flour
  • 3⁄4 C. butter, cut into small chunks
  • 3⁄4 C. sugar
  • 1⁄2 C. raisins
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 jar jam of your choice
  • 1 container whipped cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix the flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Add butter. Mix well. Beat the eggs and milk in a separate bowl. In the center of the flour mixture, add the milk, egg and raisins. mix well till soft but not runny. Roll out the mixture and and cut into long strips. Roll the strips into circles. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until scones are golden brown. When warm, slice scones. Fill with jam and whipped cream before serving.
