Water Chestnut and Bacon Appetizers
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- Soy sauce
- 1 package Bacon
- Parmesan Cheese ( shredded kind)
Line cookie sheets with foil for easy cleanup. Drain water chestnuts and place in bowl. Add enough soy sauce to cover chestnuts. Let stand for 30 minutes room temp to marinate. Cut bacon slices into 3 slices each. Drain chestnuts. Place a chestnut on bacon slice and fold. Put fold sides down on cookie sheet. Place in oven at 350 degrees, until bacon is done. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese. To keep warm, I put them in a crockpot on low. They don't burn. For 2 lbs, you will need 2 cans of water chestnuts.
