  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 chicken breast filets, pounded to ½ inch thick
  • 1/3 C. hot sauce
  • 2/3 C. water
  • 1 C. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 T. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • Hamburger buns
  • Mayonnaise
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices

Heat oil in deep fryer or skillet to fry. In a bowl, mix together water and hot sauce. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, cayenne, onion powder, paprika, and garlic powder. Dip each filet into flour mix, then diluted hot sauce, and back once more into the flour. Fry filets for 10 to 12 minutes until crispy. Drain grease on a paper towel and assemble sandwich according to preference.
