• 1 1/2 C. (110 grams) soap flakes*
• 10 Tbs. (150ml) distilled water
• 1 Tbs. (15 ml) glycerin
• 1 Tbs. (15 ml) sunflower oil
• Essential oil

Melt the soap in the water, glycerin and oil over medium heat in a double boiler. Stir with a chopstick or spoon handle. When mixture is a lumpy paste, remove from heat and add essential oil. Whisk by hand or with an electric beater until creamy. Pour into molds and leave in a cool place to set.

Tip: To make your own soap flakes, finely grate bars of Ivory soap.
