White Beans with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dried great northern beans (2 C.), sorted, rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 6 C. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp,. dried basil leaves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 C. finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil
  • 1 2.25-oz. can sliced ripe olives, drained

Directions

In slow cooker, mix all ingredients except tomatoes and olives. Cover; cook on High heat setting 4 to 5 hours. Stir in tomatoes and olives.
