White Chocolate and Dried Cherry Scones
Ingredients
- 4 C. flour
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 2 Tbs. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 oz. butter
- 1 C dried sour cherries
- 1 C white chocolate pieces
- 2 beaten eggs
- Enough heavy cream to equal 1 3/4 C. liquid
Directions
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter in a bowl with a pastry blade. Add cherries and white chocolate pieces. Add eggs and cream to flour mixture and fold together just until it holds together. The mixture will be shaggy. Scoop onto cookie sheets and bake at 400 degrees for 16-18 minutes.
