White Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbs. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash pepper
- Dash paprika
- 1 C. milk or Half & Half
Directions
In medium saucepan over low heat, or in double broiler, melt butter or margarine; stir in flour, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth. Gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.
Yield: 1 cup
