  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 shallots, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 C. white wine
  • 4 C. fish broth
  • 3 T. tomato paste
  • 2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb. clams
  • 1 lb. mussels
  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined

In your crock pot, toss onion, shallots, and garlic with olive oil. Stir in diced tomatoes, white wine, fish broth, and tomato paste. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook on low for 4 hours, add clams, mussels, and shrimp, and cook for an additional 30 minutes to an hour until clams and mussels open and shrimp is tender.
