Wild Blueberry Sauce

You'll go wild for this delicious sauce for pound cake, ice cream or pancakes-- whatever suits your fancy.

Ingredients

  • 2 C. wild blueberries
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs. butter

Directions

Boil berries, 1 C. water, sugar and salt in a medium saucepan. Reduce to simmer for 15 minutes, mashing berries slightly. Mix cornstarch with 4 Tbs. water. Slowly stir into simmering berries. Stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour over your favorite pound cake, ice cream or pancakes.
