Wild Rice Casserole

This recipe has been in our family for 80 years.

Ingredients

  • 1 C. wild rice
  • 1 can mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 can black olives, chopped
  • 1/2 C. onions, chopped
  • 1/4 C. salad oil
  • 1 can tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 C. hot water
  • 1 C. American cheese, grated

Directions

Soak rice over night. Place all ingredients in a greased casserole dish, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
