Even during the cold winter months, you can still enjoy a nice fruit crumble with this easy recipe that includes apples and cranberries!

  • 6 apples, peeled and cored
  • 2 C. cranberries
  • 1 C. white sugar
  • 3/4 C. plain white flour
  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Heat pot over medium heat on stove. Add apple, cranberries, 3/4 C. sugar and cinnamon. Stir occasionaly for about half hour with wooden spoon or until apples are soft. Mix flour, remaining sugar and butter until thick and crumbly. Place apples on dish with crumble topping. Bake for 30 minutes or until crumble is golden brown.
