  • 1 lb. lean ground pork
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 can (16-oz.) white beans, drained
  • 1 can (14.5-oz.) chicken broth
  • 1 C. (4-oz.) Diced Green Chiles

In large saucepan, brown pork with onion, stir in cumin and chili powder; stir well. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until heated through and flavors are blended.

  • I don't know where to find lean ground pork around here or maybe I should say lean enough for me to purchase... so I have decided that I want an old fashioned, hand cranked meat grinder. I think I would love this recipe.. wish me luck in getting a grinder..... grins and thanks for the recipe.
