Wonton Olives
Ingredients
- 24 jalepeno stuffed olives
- 4 Tbs. cream cheese
- 4 Tbs. finley grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Oil for deep frying
Directions
Remove the jalapenos from the olives and place them in a mini chopper with the two cheeses. Pulse until completely incorporated. Using a butter knife, carefully stuff each olive with this mixture. Place upside down in the middle of a wonton wrapper and bring the corners up over the bottom sealing each one with a drop of water. Wrap the sides close also sealing with water. This may be done in advance and when you are ready to serve, bring the oil to 256 degrees and fry for 2 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
