World's Best Spaghetti Sauce

A delicious, versatile sauce that can be used for any pasta dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 1 lb. cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 Tbs. oregano flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 C. fresh parsley chopped
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil

Directions

Saute onion and green pepper in oil. Add tomatoes and paste and seasonings. Simmer 30 minutes.
