Zucchini, Southern-Style
Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchini
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cut off ends and slice zucchini 1 inch thick. Set aside. Cut bacon in 1 inch pieces. Put into 2-qt. saucepan. Peel and chop onion; add to saucepan. Add zucchini. Cook 15 to 20 minutes in covered pan on stove. Stir around a few times during cooking. Salt and pepper to taste.
