Two Oster Products, One Happy Cook: The Best Blenders That Don't Break The Bank

Blenders tend to be one of the most crucial small appliances to have in the kitchen. But who wants to spend $700 on a product, especially if they don’t use it on a daily basis? Keep reading to see my full review of two fantastic Oster blenders.

Like I said, blenders are completely necessary to have in the kitchen, but you shouldn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for a top-of-the-line performance product. I had been looking for a reliable blender for quite some time before trying out the Oster® Versa® 1100 Series Performance Blender and the Oster® Counterforms Blender. The two products are completely different from one another, so it’s not really fair to compare them.

The Oster Counterforms is your traditional blender. It does everything that you would expect a blender to do, without any of the hassle. I was shocked at how fast it was able to blend up frozen fruit, yogurt and juice into a smoothie. Plus, unlike every other blender out there, this blender has never once clogged for me. If you’re just looking for a powerful blender for less than $100, this is absolutely the blender for you.

Now, if you’re looking for something a little more versatile, listen up. The Oster® Versa® 1100 Series Performance Blender literally amazed me. It can make anything including sorbets, soups, dips, smoothies, etc. and it only costs $149.99. Much like the Counterforms model, the Versa has never clogged, or struggled to blend my food.

Not only is this a blender, but it also comes with a 5-cup food processor attachment! Um, can you say guacamole? The food processor chops fruits and vegetables with ease! I’ve even used the processor for simple tasks like mincing garlic. I’m not joking when I say that I’ve been using the Versa anywhere from 7-15 times per week. It also comes with two Blend-N-Go Cups, which are great for taking smoothies to-go! If you’re looking for an appliance that can do it all, you have got to give the Versa a try.
