Appetizing Baked Crab Dip Recipe

This tasty dip is great with Restaurant Style Tostito's and can be frozen before baking for later use.

  • 1 pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/4 C. mayonaise
  • 1/4 C. sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 cans crab meat
  • 1 1/2 C. finely shredded muzzerella cheese
  • 3 Tbs. lemon juice

Drain water from crab meat and add 1 Tbs lemon juice in each can and let soak, set aside, Place first 4 ingredients in food processor and mix well, drain crab meat and add 1 can and 1/2 cup of cheese to processor blend together. Place mixture in large mixing bowl with 2 remaining cans of drained crab meat. Mix together lightly, as not to break crab meat. Pour mixture in 2 shell shaped ceramic dishes or small baking dish and add remaining cheese on top. Place dishes on cookie sheet (will overflow). Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until top browns slighty. Cool for 10 minutes.
