Quiche is amazing comfort food. This has a basic recipe that can be adjusted to anyone liking. You can replace the bacon with any meat of your choice or make this vegetarian by adding in other vegetables like mushroom or bell pepper.

  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon, diced
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • ¾ cup of half and half
  • ¼ cup of onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees while fitting the piecrust to a medium size pan. While the oven preheats, sauté the spinach and onion with salt and pepper in a skillet for five minutes. Then whisk together the eggs and half and half then add the spinach and onion. Pour the mixture into the piecrust and sprinkle in the bacon and cheese. Bake the quiche for 40 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
