Preheat a grill for high heat. In a large bowl, mix together the Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Crumble in the ground beef, and mix together by hand. Form into 6 patties, and wrap a slice of bacon around each one. Secure bacon with toothpicks. Place patties on the grill, and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Remove toothpicks before serving on hamburger buns.

  • Delicious burgers cooked on the George Forman grill. I wrapped the bacon around the burger at an angle covering the entire buger making sure that any extra bacon was on the burger and not on a piece of the bacon strip. No need to use toothpicks. The bacon strip stuck to the bugers. The only change I may make is to melt a piece of cheese on top before serving. We couldn't taste the shredded chesse inside the burger. Another idea would be to use small chucks of cheese instead of shredded cheese. These burgers are moist and delicoius. Will make this recipe again and hopefully the weather will cooperate so I can cook on the oustside Bar B Q grill.
