Beef up the usual burger with some bbq and cole slaw.

  • 1 Tbs. Chiptole chiles, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 2 Tbs. BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 C. Dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 Tbs. Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbs. Cabbage coleslaw
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • One large egg
  • Pinch of salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 Tbs. Sour cream
  • 4 hamburger buns

1) Combine the breadcrumbs, garlic, sauce, ground beef, chile and the egg in a large bowl and mix well. Divide the mixture to make 4 equal sized patties. The patties will be half inch thick.
2) Take a non-stick skillet and coat the base with cooking spray and cook the patties in medium heat. Cook five minutes for each side.
3) Take a large bowl and mix mayonnaise, coleslaw, sugar, salt, pepper, and sour cream and toss the mixture well. On the bottom halves of the bun, place the patties first and top them with parts of coleslaw mixture and cover with top halves of the bun.
