  • 1 package of penne pasta
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • ½ cup of onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon of dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ cup of Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

As the penne pasta cooks to al dente as described on the package, prepare the meat sauce. In a large skillet, season the meat with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Brown the meat for ten minutes, then add in the tomato sauce, onion, rosemary, basil and garlic powder. Cover and let the sauce simmer for 30 minutes, remembering to stir occasionally. Remove the meat sauce from heat and then add in the penne pasta. Garnish with Parmesan and enjoy!
