  • 1 box elbow macaroni
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 3 C. canned crushed tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 3 C. grated white cheddar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cook the macaroni according to the directions and drain. Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet and add the garlic. Cook for about 1 minute and add the ground beef. Cook until browned and pour in the tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Season with basil and oregano while stirring. Combine the macaroni and beef in a large bowl and spread into a baking dish. Top with cheese and bake for 20 minutes until bubbling.
