  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cook the ground meat in an oiled skillet until it is browned. Use a wooden spoon to break up the ground beef as it browns. Then prepare a baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray. In a bowl, stir together the cooked ground beef, rice, soup, water, and carrots. Bake for 1.5 hours and when 5 minutes are left, sprinkle the casserole with cheese and finish baking so the cheese melts.
