  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 6 oz. can crabmeat
  • 2 Tbs. grated onion
  • 1 Tbs. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbs. finely sliced green onions, for garnish

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, crabmeat, onion, milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well. Place mixture in an ovenproof serving dish; sprinkle with a little paprika. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with sliced green onion.

Yield: approximately 2 cups

  • I have made this recipe with real crabmeat and the flaked crabmeat and I enjoy it with the flaked crabmeat better. Also I add chopped walnuts on top when baking.

  • HOW MUCH ONION? I have watched this video 3 times, and the AMOUNT of onions is never mentioned!

  • You can also use this filling to fill small wonton wrappers. Insert wrapper into a mini cup cake tin and fill with filling and pinch up the sides to make a pouch and bake til golden brown and there you have crab rangoons. Serve with duck sauce. Its very good.

  • I made this the other day, and boy was it good. Easy and delicious. I did use real crab from the claws. Fresh is always better.

  • also use to fill large mushrooms then broil till tops brown
    or, refrigerate and eat with crackers as an appetizer
