  • 4 lb. beef spare ribs
  • 3 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Place the ribs in an ovenproof dish and cut them into portion sizes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. In a saucepan, heat the rest of the ingredients. When the brown sugar is dissolved and the mixture is of an even consistency, stir the sauce and pour it over the spareribs in the dish. Marinate the ribs for 2 hours in the fridge.

Place the ribs on the grill and continue to baste them while they are on the grill. Let them brown to your preferred level of doneness.
