  • 1 pound of flank steak
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • ½ cup of fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ¼ cup of jalapeno, diced
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 package of corn tortilla
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup of fresh cilantro, diced
  • Lime, for garnish

For the steak:
First, marinate the flank steak in the olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeno, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a covered baking pan for at least 6 hours. To cook, prepare a grill and let the flank steak cook for 5 minutes on each side or bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

For the tacos:
To make the tacos, dice the flank steak and add to a corn tortilla. Top with a tablespoon of onion and cilantro, then garnish with lime. Serve and enjoy!
