  • 1 package of beef hot dogs
  • 1 package of poppy seed buns
  • 1 pound of potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 8 dill pickle spears
  • Chopped onion, for garnish
  • Pickled relish, for garnish
  • Celery salt, for garnish
  • Mustard, to taste
  • Salt, to taste

First, soak the fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then rinse and pat dry. As the hot dogs boil or grill, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Fry for potatoes for 5 minutes, or until golden brown. As soon as the fries are removed from the oil, sprinkle with a generous amount of salt. Next, place the hot dogs on a poppy seed bun then top with a pickle, chopped onion, a pickled relish, mustard and a dash of celery salt. Serve with the fries and enjoy!
