  • 2 pounds of white potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound of green squash, sliced
  • 3 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 2 cans of heavy cream
  • 3 cups of Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

As the oven preheats to 400 degrees, melt butter in a small pot. Once the butter is melted, whisk in the flour, salt, and pepper until browned. Then pour in the water, milk, potatoes, and squash and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes then stir in the chicken. Next, layer the potatoes onto the casserole dish and top with about 1 cup of cheese. Repeat. Bake for 30 minutes and serve.
