Chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes are special for any child's birthday or school bake sale. Everyone loves eating cookie dough before it is baked. A new twist on the classic sweet treat is to change the recipe and incorporate cookie dough into cupcakes. This flavor is popular in ice cream and other desserts, so it just makes sense to use it in snack sized cakes. The best part is that the following recipe uses store bought cookie dough. Within minutes, it will be simple to whip up a batch that is frosted with butter cream icing.
