This recipe is so simple and easy to follow that just about anyone can make it. These quesadillas are perfect to eat as either a snack or even as party appetizers.

  • ½ cup shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • Sour cream (for topping)
  • Salsa ( for topping)

Heat up a medium skillet over using medium heat. Place two of the flour tortillas into the skillet adding the handful of shredded cheese on top. Once bottom of tortilla has warmed and cheese has slightly melted, fold tortilla in half to create the quesadilla shape. Use a spatula to flip tortilla to the other side. When other side is slightly browned, remove quesadilla from skillet and transfer to a plate. For extra flavor add sour cream and salsa on top.
