  • 4 C. cabbage, shredded (you can use red cabbage, too)
  • 1/2 onion or green onions, grated
  • 1 C. carrot, grated
  • 2 Tbs. white vinegar
  • 2/3 C. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs. yellow mustard
  • 2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and mustard with the vinegar until completely blended
Add the sugar and season to taste with salt and pepper
In a salad bowl, toss the cabbage with the onion and grated carrot until blended
Add the dressing and mix well
Chill the cole slaw for a couple of hours or overnight
Serve cold
