This is a copycat dip that will leave your taste buds humming from the heat. Chi Chi's inspired this salsa recipe that is made with fresh veggies and infused with hot sauce for good measure. This dip is ready in just 30 minutes and can be enjoyed anytime of the day.

  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 2-3 green onions ends cut off
  • 1 Roma tomato diced
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ ground fresh black pepper
  • Tabasco - add to taste

Cut up stewed tomatoes and combine in saucepan with onions, fresh tomato, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil for 1 minute and remove at from heat. Put half of mixture through blender just to mince fine but not to puree. Return to remaining half of mixture. Cool and refrigerate for about an hour and serve with chips. Can be frozen and enjoyed for up to a month.
