  • 2 C. self rising flour (Cracker Barrel uses White Lily brand)
  • 1/3 C. vegetable shortening
  • 2/3 C. buttermilk
  • melted butter

  1. Blend the flour and shortening together.

  2. Add the buttermilk and mix for one minute.

  3. Roll out and cut. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes then brush with melted butter.
