This might be our favorite copycat recipe from Mrs. Fields. While this may not be a perfect recreation of the famous cookie recipe from the store, it's certainly good enough for us! Serve this and amaze your guests.

  • 1 1/4 C. softened butter
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 C. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 C. cocoa powder
  • 1 C. peanut butter chips
  • 1 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 C finely chopped peanuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift together flour and cocoa, gradually add to the butter mixture and beat until well blended. Fold in nuts and both kinds of chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake approximately 9 minutes. Cool on wire rack until set, about 3 minutes.
