  • 1 C. frozen blueberries
  • 1 C. frozen raspberries
  • 1 1/4 C. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 C. flour
  • 1/4 C. softened butter
  • 1/4 C. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbs. lemon juice

Grease the inside of the crockpot. Add in frozen berries, 1/4 C. sugar and the cornstarch, stirring well.

In a separate bowl, mix butter and 1/2 C. sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla.

In yet another bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, and baking powder. Now add the butter mixture a little at a time, adding milk in between. Once the entire butter mixture and milk is added and mixed well with the dry ingredients, pour this mixture atop the berries in the crockpot.

Now, in a saucepan, mix the remaining sugar with lemon juice and heat to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, then pour this mixture atop the batter.

This should cook on high for 3 hours, then let cool 1 hour before serving.
