  • 2 C. flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1 T. paprika
  • 1 T. salt
  • 2 T. black pepper
  • 6 chicken legs, washed and patted dry
  • pancake/waffle mix
  • oil for frying
  • maple syrup

Combine dry ingredients in a sealable plastic bag. Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg wash, then back into the flour. In a deep skillet or dutch oven, fill with oil about halfway. Let oil warm up, then fry chicken for 5-6 minutes or until chicken is golden brown. Drain chicken on paper towels and set aside.

Prepare waffle mix according to package, warm waffle iron and let cook until waffles are golden brown.

Serve with maple syrup.
