Tilapia is a whitefish that can be cooked in a variety of ways. One of my favorite ways to prepare this fresh fish is by pan-frying it to give it a nice crunchy exterior, leaving the inside incredibly flaky and tender.

Rinse tilapia in cold water, then pat each fillet with paper towels. Season the fillets with salt and pepper, then cover each fillet in the flour. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook each fillet until cooked through, roughly 3 minutes on each side. Before removing tilapia from the skillet, brush with melted butter. Serve and enjoy!
