Deep Dish Pot Pie

This is my dad's all-time favorite pot pie recipe. He would always request we make them on his birthday every year. My dad always liked chicken, but you can also use turkey in these deep-dish pot pies.

  • 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 (9 oz.) pkgs. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 2 C. cubed cooked chicken (or turkey)
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 C. Bisquick baking mix

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish, mix soup, vegetables, and chicken (or turkey). Mix milk, egg and baking mix. Pour over chicken mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
